JAY-Z dropped his highly anticipated 4:44 via TIDAL at midnight and the entire CASSIUS team has spent hours pouring over lyrics, samples, messages and, of course, Hov’s signature double entendres.
But you know what we haven’t done? Written a review. Why? Because we’re still processing the damn record, and you should be, too.
We know that the album is poignant, personal and potentially game-changing. It’s also less than 24 hours old. No shots at folks who have already fired off 2000 word screeds but we aren’t even going to pretend that we’re prepared to do that level of analysis yet. Stay tuned, it’s coming.
