Also, after the success of his six-episode docuseries about Kalief Browder, Variety reports Jay Z is collaborating with Katie Couric for another six-part documentary about race and inequality. “The Carter-Weinstein project will be a docuseries currently titled ‘Race,’ which will give look into systemic injustices in America,” reports the outlet. “It will delve into crime and punishment, wealth inequality, the role of social media, activism and family.” This is the third series to be announced since Hov and The Weinstein Company signed their two-year film and television deal in 2016. Their Trayvon Martin series is slated to drop in 2018.

North Korea detained its third U.S. citizen on Saturday morning amid rising tensions between the two countries, reports CNN. Kim Sang Duk, aka Tony Kim, was teaching at Pyongyang University of Science and Technology when he was taken into custody. “We understand this detention is related to an investigation into matters not connected in any way with the work of PUST,” the school said in a statement. “We cannot comment on anything that Mr. Kim may be alleged to have done that is not related to his teaching work on the PUST campus.”
