Vic Mensa’s a name that’s been around for a good while, but after he took time to figure out his signature sound, we’ll finally receive his debut studio album. The album, titled The Autobiography, will be released on Friday, July 28 and will include The Dream, Syd (of The Internet), Weezer, Ty Dolla $ign, Joey Purp and others. On the lead single, “Wings,” featuring Pharrell Williams and Saul Williams, Mensa opens up about the process of making this project.

Travis Scott, “Butterfly Effect”

Travis Scott recently dropped the visuals for his new song “Butterfly Effect.” The record came out earlier this year as one of three standalone tracks, so no word yet if Travis is back in album mode after his 2016 project, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight. Directed by BRTHR, the video takes you on a lucidly wild ride, filled with Lamborghinis, dirt bikes and, well, butterflies. You can catch the Houston rapper on tour with D.R.A.M on Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN Tour.

Childish Major has been steadily bubbling with quality music, and his latest release “Woo$ah” doesn’t disappoint. Produced by Lyle Leduff, Major addresses avoiding life’s problems and taking a break to just relax. He’s definitely someone to keep an eye on in the future.

Daniel Caesar’s “Blessed” may have been released in the July sun, but it will immediately bring you to the land of #TheFeels. The Toronto singer and songwriter acknowledges the hardships of love and being loved, and how someone’s presence can be a blessing in your life.
