The Weeknd recently announced a new collaborative project with Marvel Comics.
Starboy, which calls back to title of the Toronto singer’s 2016 studio album, is a new comic book series slated for release at the top of 2018. The Weeknd hinted at the project on social media, saying that more information would be released at New York Comic Con, which took place over the weekend.
This isn’t Marvel’s first foray into urban music. Its popular renditions of famous album covers over the last couple of years made waves with comic enthusiasts and rap heads alike.
