Burgers and beer are always a solid move.

So it shouldn’t come as a complete surprise that Burger King might be the next fast food chain to hop on the new wave and start selling alcohol. According to DNAInfo.com, one of Burger King’s franchises on Seventh Avenue in New York City hit up the local community board about applying for a liquor license.

“Anyone who wants a liquor license has to come to us first, so they came to us,”  Community Board 5 District Manager Wally Rubin told DNAInfo.

The State Liquor Authority already has a ton of liquor license applications so it hasn’t reviewed Burger King’s application yet, which means New Yorkers might not be able to get lit at the burger spot this summer. But, the location in the Financial District got the go-ahead to start pouring up last December.

Across the pond, Burger Kings in the U.K. have been selling booze since 2014. Other fast food spots already sell alcohol, especially Chipotle, which sells Patrón, margaritas and a bunch of domestic beers.

In honor of NYC’s Burger King trying to get in on the liquor game, take our poll below and let us know what kind of booze you’d like to have at your local spot.
