Yes, the tales of “A&R Bron” run deep, as the 32-year-old modern GOAT has never been afraid to issue his co-sign on the new music of the moment. From vouching for Jay-Z’s personal testimonial that is 4:44, to training in the gym bumping Tee Grizzley’s then-sleeper hit “First Day Out” after losing to the Golden State Warriors, LeBron is good for putting the people on.
Now, James is the first NBA player to curate his own musical playlist via Nike’s NBA Connected Jersey. James’ mix, titled LeBron’s Unbreakable Playlist, can be streamed on both NikeConnect and Apple Music, and it features big names like Drake, Big Sean, Metro Boomin and Migos.
Per a statement from Apple Music, the playlist was created to simulate what it’s like to get in LeBron’s zone. “Season 15 started. Each season is another opportunity to put in the work and strive for greatness. Get in the zone with the playlist that gets LeBron James hyped.”
The playlist can be accessed by connecting your smartphone while in the NikeConnect mobile application to the special zone on the tag of select Nike jerseys, which prompts original content, team-specific features, and more.
