It’s Haitian Flag Day, and there’s no better way to turn up than by giving back to the island nation.

Grown-ish star and all- around cool kid Luka Sabbat is paying homage to the world’s first free Black republic—and the birthplace of his pops, Clark— with a mission-minded drop that honors his roots. In partnership with intimates line, Related Garments, the 20-year-old visited his pop’s native Port-au-Price to reunite with family while designing the impactful project.

Titled Sabbat x Related, 12% of the proceeds benefit HELP (Haitian Education and Leadership Program)—an organization that provides scholarships to local students, arming them with tools to become effective leaders. The lineup of underwear and socks feature dates of the Haitian Revolution and colors from the Haitian Flag.

Produced by local artisans, the initiative gives back by supplying jobs to the community, “helping Haitians help themselves.” Kompa tunes inject a sense of vibrancy into the video campaign, capturing father and son throughout the island with family and friends.

The collab took Clark—an acclaimed designer himself, who now lives in New York— back to his island roots to reconnect with family. For French-born Luka, the partnership meant paying homage. The pair documented their 7-day trip in a dope video featured below.

Cop the 12-piece men’s and women’s lineup ranges from $25-$42 at relatedgarments.com/sabbat. Learn more about Haitian cool-kid Luka Sabbat in our Free x (Style) Gods feature and take a closer look at the lineup below.
