It’s a good time to be LeBron James. When Laura Ingraham first tried and failed to put the NBA superstar in his place by telling him to “shut up and dribble” and “keep the political commentary to yourself” we are sure she didn’t imagine he’d troll her this epically.

The King is making the “Ingraham Angle” host eat her words after it was announced Hollywood Bron will serve as an executive producer on new Showtime docu-series called “Shut Up and Dribble.” The new show will highlight “the changing role of athletes in our fraught cultural and political environment, through the lens of the NBA.”

In a press release, Showtime CEO David Nevins added about the show:

If being a star athlete is inherently a political experience, ‘Shut Up And Dribble’ tells that complex and dramatic story from the past to the present and from the inside out.”

This latest news immediately follows Donald Trump having the audacity to insult both his and CNN’s host intelligent in a tweet. Trump’s comments led to him getting roasted as the floodgates opened with tweets of support and praise from everyone including other NBA athletes.

Twitter especially enjoyed LeBron’s “god-level” trolling of Ingraham and shared hilarious responses to LeBron turning a negative into a positive.

The news of this new docu-series can be added to the growing list of LeBron’s accomplishments in 2018. He opened his I PROMISE public school in his hometown of Akron, his barbershop talk show The Shop was picked up by HBO, the rumored Space Jam 2 sequel he is set to star in may have found it’s director, and his competition series Million Dollar Smile has been picked up by CBS.

Basketball aside, LeBron James is definitely on the best winning streak of his entire career at this point.
