In a new interview with Streetz 94.5, Meek Mill opened up about allegedly getting Nicki Minaj’s ex-fiancé Safaree Samuels “jumped.” While we all assumed it was Meek’s doing (Safaree was targeted seconds after Meek arrived to a pre-BET Awards party in Los Angeles), the Philly rapper pulled a Shaggy and basically said, “It wasn’t me!”

Meek insisted, “I was just lookin’ like, ‘Man, what’s going on?…I don’t be worrying about these dudes…I never really get it confused, man. People be talking on these Internets. A lot of stuff go on the Internet.” He added, “In real life, you always gotta remember, in real life, it’s always real life. I try to keep everything real life, stay out of all these dudes’ way, get straight to the money, and keep it moving.”

Meek also says he’d rather end problems then keep them going. “I ain’t got no problem with nobody,” he said. “If you do got a problem with me, when you see me, we’ll swap it out however we could swap it out. Hopefully, we could keep it moving.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Meek talks about his third studio album, Wins & Losses, due Friday, July 21, and weighs in on Jay-Z’s 4:44which he says is a “genius project, something that our culture needed for sure.”
