Both prolific and beloved artists in their own right, R&B crooner Raheem Devaughn and wordsmith Wes Felton come together to form The CrossRhodes.  Last year, the DC natives released “Footprints on the Moon,” a track inspired by the death of Freddie Gray and continues to create a soundtrack for the contemporary social justice movement.

As they gear up for the release for their first full-length collaborative project this fall, CASSIUS is excited to premier the group’s new video, “America,” which features poet Raquel Ra Brown and production from iCan & Malcolm X Rec. The clip was directed by Chris Scholar.

The CrossRhodes Footprints On The Moon will be available in stores and via streaming platforms on September 22nd, and features the likes of heavy-hitters such as Scarface, 9th Wonder, Talib Kweli, Chaz French as Rapsody.
