For FW17, adidas Originals is continuing an ongoing collaboration with Japanese designer Yosuke Aizawa and White Mountaineering on a comprehensive range of innovative footwear and apparel.
Maintaining its core focus on the “military theme” and adidas Originals’ rich sporting heritage, the line introduces a new range of footwear styles and apparel. Staying true to White Mountaineering’s philosophy of creating luxury tech product with an undeniable sartorial touch and heavy focus on details, the pieces perfectly incorporate adidas Originals’ rich heritage and iconic three stripes.
This collection will also include the re-introduction of classic footwear styles including the Boston Super and Seeulater Alledo. Both silhouettes will feature all of the signature adidas Original design details, Aizawa’s futuristic elements and updated Primeknit constructions.
Yosuke Aizawa reworked classic clothing items including cargo pants, knitwear, jersey and headwear pieces. Standouts include the Gore-Tex lined 3-stripes shell jacket, an insulated down jacket and a vintage-inspired flight jacket.
Launching globally, on September 9, the adidas Originals by White Mountaineering FW17 will be on sale at adidas Originals flagship stores, adidas.com and in selected retailers.
