Jewelry brand John Hardy has released its new “Made for Legends” campaign starring model/ activist Adwoa Aboah and Oscar-winning actress, Julianne Moore. Shot by world renowned photographers Luigi Murenu and Iango Henzi, this is the first campaign under newly appointed Creative Director Hollie Bonneville Barden.
Using jewelry as a means of expression, the “Made for Legends” campaign is brought to life by the use of powerful and inspiring women. Adwoa couldn’t embody this more with her relentless fight to bring awareness to mental health issues and gender equality. Last year, the model founded Gurls Talk, a new movement whose mission is to create a safe space for young women to share their experiences on a variety of topics.

Candid about her own struggles with self-esteem and self-love, Aboah is on a mission to empower troubled youth to share their stories with others. “Vulnerability to me is pure strength. Self-love, that’s really powerful,” she adds. “I love the idea of gifting yourself. I cover myself in jewelry, I’m obsessed. Jewelry feels like it has got some soul, it’s not afraid to be different. It’s legendary.”
