On this Halloween Tuesday, the music world has been treated to many new projects from some of the biggest names and acts in music, such as Chris Brown, 21 Savage and Offset, Skepta and more.
It can be hard to keep up, but CASSIUS has you covered, bringing all of these new releases together in one place.
Without Warning – 21 Savage, Offset and Metro Boomin
Surprise albums are nothing new in today’s music world, but the streets got a special one this Halloween. 21 Savage, fresh off of his certified gold-selling album Issa, united with Migos member Offset for a quickstrike project featuring production from none other than Metro Boomin. The gun talk is on 100 on this one with songs like “My Choppa Don’t Like Ni**as” and “Ghostface Killers,” as Metro’s beats serve as the perfect layout for the Atlanta duo’s bars.
Heartbreaks on a Full Moon – Chris Brown
It’s been a little over two years since Chris Brown released a new album, and from the looks of it, the singer had been recording the entire time. His 2017 release Heartbreak On A Full Moon is both a physical and digital double-disc and has 45 songs. With features from Dej Loaf, Lil Yachty, Usher, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, Kodak Black, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Jhene Aiko, R Kelly, and more, looks like you may want to schedule some time to check out this one. If anything on the new project sounds like this, Breezy might have another one.
Vicious EP – Skepta
Skeps is known to drop new material on Halloween and this year is no different. Considered one of the leading forces in British rap, Skepta continues his mission of bringing the London sound stateside with his new project, Vicious EP. He’s joined by A$AP Rocky and A$AP Nas, Lil B (#ProtectLilBAtAllCosts), and the Section Boyz.
“Dat Side” – Cyhi The Prynce feat. Kanye West
Cyhi The Prynce is one of the most underrated lyricists in rap music, someone who consistently comes with the bars track in and track out. The G.O.O.D. Music signee is still working to release his debut studio album No Dope On Sundays, but he has announced two singles: “Legend” and “Movin’ Around” with a feature by ScHoolboy Q. Today brought a song called “Dat Side,” and it has a guest verse from one Mr. Kanye West. This is one of the first audio outings from Yeezy in some time now, and the song offers some promise for whenever Cyhi decides to drop his project.
