According to TMZ, Meek Mill will be released from jail Tuesday (April 24).

The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania has reportedly overruled Judge Genece Brinkley, who was criticized for being extremely unprofessional during the trial and harbored those feelings in his sentencing. She was accused of extortion when she allegedly wanted him to leave Roc Nation to sign with an associate of hers. And when Meek reportedly declined, she gave him a harsher sentence.

Philly born comedian Kevin Hart went to visit Meek in prison today and also broke the news on Instagram with a caption that read, “Meek Mill is Frrrrreeeeeeeee ….I just left from seeing him in jail with @michaelgrubin and we were just told that he is being released. Woooooooow……Stand Up Philadelphia!!!!!”

Since Meek’s imprisonment, the corrupt and often harsh justice system has been under the watchful eye of protestors and plenty of celebrities who fought for not only his freedom but a fair trial.

Meek also took to Twitter to release his own statement:

This is a developing story.
