CasBar: David Banner Chops It Up About New Movie ‘Never Heard’ & Plays NBA 2K

Dismiss

On the latest episode of CasBar, we’re kicking it with Mississippi’s own David Banner as his new movie “Never Heard” hits theaters soon. At Banner’s request, he and Michael Wade are chopping it up over some NBA 2K.

But first, we gotta make sure everyone knows the rules:

  1. If Team CASSIUS is up at the end of a quarter, Banner has to answer any crazy question we ask. If Banner is up, he gets to plug whatever he wants for 15 seconds.
  2. To make things fair (and speed things up) each quarter will only last two minutes.
  3. And, most important: Team CASSIUS better not get its ass kicked.

Banner is hyped to play and he opts to rock out with Golden State Warriors while Wade chooses the Washington Wizards. Banner and the stacked Warriors are leading when the first quarter comes to a close so for 15 seconds he opts to promote… his good looks to all the ladies watching.

During the second quarter, Banner gets into “Never Heard” and reveals that he plays a father who gets out of prison and hopes that his son doesn’t go down the same dark path he did. On a serious note, he relates it back to minority communities and how your environment plays a huge role in your upbringing, regardless of your intent.

To see if the Golden State Warriors are able to come out on top—as they likely will this season—watch the entire episode of CasBar up top.
