LeBron James is 2018 AP Male Athlete of the Year

The King keeps on racking in W’s. 

Associated Press just named LeBron James Athlete of the Year for the third time in his career (winning previously in 2013 and 2016). While he wow-ed the audience with his performance earlier this year in the Cavs during the Finals and now with the Lakers, he also shook up the game with his philanthropic efforts. He opened up his “I Promise” public school for at-risk kids in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. He also stood up to the Trump administration and media critics with the Showtime series “Shut Up and Dribble,” which he was on board with as an executive producer.

DMX Is Ready to Release New Music When He Gets Out of Prison Next Month

DMX is ready to get back to the grind. 

According to TMZ, the hip-hop legend who went to prison for tax evasion will be released next month and hopes to get started with new music and maybe some acting roles. Unnamed sources have said he has several roles on the table but other than that he’s been writing stuff while he was locked up that he can’t wait to get back to the studio with.

We’re hoping for the best stuff to come when he comes home on January 27.

Chris Brown Facing Criminal Charges Over Pet Monkey

Breezy is still on his bullsh*t.

The performer is currently facing two criminal charges after he announced he got a baby capuchin monkey last year without a permit. After an investigation was conducted, authorities got a search warrant for his home and Brown voluntarily surrendered the animal. He was charged with two counts of having a restricted species without a permit, which both have a maximum of six months in jail.
