Kid Cudi Is Releasing a Netflix Show Based on His New Album.
Cudi’s about to be back with a new album, and this time, he’s got a new Netflix show to go along with it. Titled Entergalactic, the show is being produced alongside Black-ish’s Kenya Barris and chronicles a young man’s journey to find love.
“Entergalactic will be something you’ve never experienced,” he recently tweeted. “I promise it’ll be a fun ride. Lot of good friends involved. Great songs too! The cast is coming together. I know a year from now seems like forever but itll be here before u know it!”
And while there’s no album release date as of yet, a tweet from May 17 of this year points to a possible 2020 drop.
Lil Nas X Is Making History.
Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” has been on top of the Billboard 100 for 16 weeks straight. It’s a cause for celebration, because the song is now tied with “Despacito” (Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber) and “One Sweet Day” (Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men) for the longest-running No. 1 of all time.
“If he stays at No. 1 for one more week, he will be the first song in the history of American popular music to reign for an unprecedented 17 weeks,” VIBE adds.

5 Were Killed & 6 Wounded in an Acapulco Bar Shooting.
On Sunday, gunmen killed five people and wounded six others at Mr. Bar in Acapulco. According to Fox News, the incident is just the latest “in a string of violent incidents” that have recently taken place in the Mexican city.
“The victims were all said to be Acapulco residents,” says Fox News. “Forensic examiners recovered 21 bullet casings from the scene, which was cordoned off by soldiers and police.”
So far, one suspect has been arrested.
