Bomani Jones, otherwise known as El Flaco, is about to level up at ESPN.

The outspoken (and hilarious) sports pundit has landed his own show alongside Pablo Torre, of ESPN The Magazine, that will stream on ESPN’s digital platforms early next year.

And although we’ll have to wait until January 2018 to check out the new series, the partnership between the two sports heads is already getting off to a great start.

“Had someone asked me a year ago who I’d want to work with on a new TV show, I would have said Pablo Torre. Now that it’s going to happen, I couldn’t be more excited. We have a chance to make something new, fresh and entertaining, and I can’t wait to take on that challenge,” said Jones in a press release.

Torre’s also pretty hype about the hour-long show, that pairs him up with his buddy. “Bomani Jones happens to be one of my best friends in this strange business, not least because I wind up laughing while being challenged and enlightened every time we talk. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to turn ourselves into a live sports television show that’s as fun to watch as it will be to make.”

Torre— who’s been part of the ESPN squad since 2012— has made the rounds on tons of sports networks shows like Around the Horn, Pardon the Interruption, SportsNation and Highly Questionable. But fans of his print work have nothing to fear—he’ll still contribute to ESPN The Magazine.

What’s even better is that we know Jones and Torre will have no problem confronting social issues off the field. Torre had no problem giving a hot take on NY Giants Josh Brown’s domestic violence charge and rape culture in sports.

Jones, on the other hand, currently serves as the co-host of Highly Questionable, but his new venture will give him a chance to show off his personality even more.

Despite ESPN’s recent layoffs, both Torre and Jones inked long-term extensions (for a bigger bag) this year so they’re clearly not going anywhere.

We’re also wondering if Bomani will have a dress code because…
