Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie Jeremy McNichols is not afraid of hard work.

The Buccaneers’ fifth-round draft pick was one of the top running backs in college football, rushing for 1,709 yards and landing 23 touchdowns in the 2016 season. And even though he’s made it by most folks’ measures, McNichols feels like he’s really just starting all over again.

McNichols is the first up in CASSIUS’ brand new sports series Rooks, highlighting the guts, glory and grueling conditioning that encompasses the life of an NFL fresh prospect.

In our first episode, McNichols rips and runs through his training workout. He explains that he working out and football blocks out the reality of the pressures before him in his rookie season. And don’t think his focus is on flashing lights and A-list parties— he’s ready to work like he never has before. “I want to really learn how to be a pro the right way, on and off the field,” he said.

And the young star in the making has a question everyone can relate to: “You made it where you wanted to make it… now what to you do from here?”

Get to know Tampa Bays talented rookie in the first episode of Rooks above.
