L    eave it to Chance the Rapper to do something for the people to bring in the weekend. With Chadwick Boseman’s new film Marshall debuting in theaters today, the Chicago native decided to buy out several theaters in his hometown and host screenings in support of the film.

Chance took to social media in the form of a “press release” to alert his followers of the show times and locations.

Surprises were hinted in the posts and if it’s one thing the rapper is known for, it’s going above and beyond for the people.

Marshall stars Chadwick Boseman as the young Thurgood Marshall, not yet the legendary Supreme Court Justice, but a lawyer working his way up in the NAACP, where he takes the case of a Black man being accused of raping a white woman in Connecticut.

Marshall is now in theaters.
