Global sportswear brand Reebok has partnered with some of the most creative minds in the world to develop new fitness prototypes equipped with state-of-the-art Flexweave technology, the brand’s latest innovation.

Designers from New York’s Joe Doucet x Partners, London’s Modla and the Netherlands’ Odd Matter worked with Reebok’s first-generation of Flexweave —made from chenille yarn— to develop the new prototypes. As strong as it is light, Flexweave boasts an open figure-8 construction featuring interlocks of unlimited strands of fibers that create a single surface construction.

Tasked with exploring the endless potential of Flexweave, the designers crafted innovative products that serve a unique fitness purpose. These include Joe Doucet x Partners’ cutting-edge running gloves, Modla’s 3D-printed altitude training mask and Odd Matters’ lightweight fitness chairs.

Think you can do better? Well, Reebok has extended the creative experience around its signature Flexweave technology to its online community, debuting an interactive digital experience on the Reebok Innovation Collective website called Create Your Weave. The program allows participants to construct their own virtual weave design and share it with friends.
