Big Lies

The Internet held hands Thursday evening when Donald Trump’s Twitter account appeared to have been removed. Did the social media gods hear us? Did he finally put his phone down? WAS THIS THE START OF HIS IMPEACHMENT!?

Nah.

It was none of that.

As it turns out, @realDonaldTrump was “inadvertently” deactivated by “human error” by a Twitter employee, and the account was restored just 11 minutes later. “We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again,” Twitter Government tweeted at 8:05 p.m. EST. Considering it was this particular employee’s last day on the job, however, we question how “inadvertent” this “human error” actually was.
