Marvel has finally released a new promotional image for Black Panther and frankly, it’s awesome. The sight of Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, ruler of the fictitious African country Wakanda, sitting upon his throne in full Black Panther uniform, has fans buzzing about the film once again, months ahead of the February 16, 2018 release date.
When it was announced that the first trailer of the film will air tonight during Game 4 of the NBA Finals, Twitter immediately erupted in praise:

With Ryan Coogler (director of Fruitvale Station and Creed) at the helm and one of the biggest, Blackest casts ever (Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Forrest Whitaker and Angela Bassett in ONE film?!), Black Panther promises to bring long-time Marvel fanatics and folks who know little about comic books together for a funky good time.
