adidas Originals is relaunching its “Crazy” silhouette— a classic mid cut basketball sneaker that launched in the ’90s. Originally inspired by classic hip-hop culture and futuristic design, the brand is releasing two new iterations in an effort to introduce the classic kicks to a new generation.

Co-signing the launch are some of today’s most popular rappers: 21 Savage, Playboi Carti and Young Thug. Each artist’s personal style shines in the new campaign, resulting in the ultimate creative partnership. The combination of strong graphics, fearless spirit and fire sneaks makes the images truly one of a kind.

The first model—the CrazyADV— maintains its distinctive futuristic design with a premium nubuck upper, sockfit neoprene interior for maximum fit and a sleek new concealed lacing system. The reinvention of the basketball staple is sure to break boundaries on and off the court.

The second model—the new Crazy 8 ADV PK— is a more aggressive silhouette that features a distinctive Primeknit constructed upper, textured stripes and vacuum-coated structural overlays.  The design incorporates bold accents including distinctive jagged tooling and open windows for visual contrast.

The new “Crazy” silhouettes release globally on November 22 at adidas.com and adidas Originals retailers.
