With Donald Trump‘s antics and the recent protests in Charlottesville, Va., racial tensions in America are at an all-time high.

And while Nike usually pays homage to Black History Month during February, it looks like the swoosh has come through in August. Jordan Brand employee Frank Cooker, who usually works on energy products for the Jumpman, gave the public a sneak peek at some exclusive Air Jordan 1s. Though they’ll never be a general release, the Jordan 1 makes a clear statement.

Draped in buttery black suede with a black sole to match, the 1s feature a rare ankle strap that reads #BLACKLIVESMATTER in stark white letters. He finished things off with a some heavy-duty waxed laces. He captioned the photo “… and so does standing up for peace , harmony , equality and justice for ALL!”

Jordan Brand also recently unveiled the Flyknit Jordan 1 and the Shadow 1s are poised to make their return in May of 2018. Fans of the first ever signature Jordan are looking to drop some major bread in the coming months.
