NPR‘s “Tiny Desk Concert” has featured some of the biggest names in all genres of music, and is heralded as one of the best content series out. After featuring soul singer Bilal backed by The Roots in the last installation, it tapped the young rising star Aminé to pay a visit to its Washington D.C. offices with a performance.

The Oregon native first made his big splash into the music scene with his heavily-popular single “Caroline” in 2016, and released his debut studio album Good For You earlier this year. Backed by a four-piece band and a background singer, Aminé delighted the listening crowd with performances blending “Spice Girl” with “Caroline,” “Slide” and “Wedding Crashers,” sans Offset.
