1 Black Mirror (Netflix)

The fourth season of our favorite British science fiction show debuts on December 29th,  and it’s reportedly darker than ever. Into the spooky stories a la “The Twilight Zone”? 2 Marvel’s Runaways (Hulu)

The Marvel universe delivers another equally thrilling and captivating tale with this epic story about six LA teenagers who are on an extraordinary mission. Praised as one the “best comic book dramas of the year”, the series follows youngsters who come from wealthy families and discover that their parents’ organization (PRIDE) isn’t a charity-based tax write off like they were informed. The team has to piece together what’s really going on when the adults meet— while figuring out some chilling details about themselves.

3 Wormwood (Netflix)

This chilling true-crime documentary follows the story of Army scientist Frank Olson who jumped out of a window early in the morning of November 28, 1953. The plot twist? Olson’s death came just days after the CIA gave him LSD as part of a mind-control experiment. The six-part docudrama miniseries follows the secret government biological warfare program that may have been behind his death.

4 The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon Original)

Created by Gilmore Girls‘ own Amy Sherman-Palladino, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is the perfect show to binge watch with bae. Set in 1958 New York City , Miriam “Midge” Maisel’s entire world comes crumbling down when her husband confesses he’s having an affair. However, out of her misery she finds humor — literally, by becoming a stand-up comic.

5 Bill Nye Saves the World (Netflix)
