The Emmett Till Case Has Been Reopened.

The federal government has reopened its investigation into the killing of Emmett Till, the Black teenager who was brutally murdered in Mississippi in 1955.

According to WJLA, “a Justice Department report to Congress says the agency is reinvestigating Till’s slaying after receiving what it calls ‘new information.'”

While the report doesn’t specify what the new information is, two white men were previously acquitted in Till’s lynching before later confessing.

Balmain says the clothing line will be released at their Paris flagship store on Friday (July 13) and worldwide on Saturday (July 14), with proceeds going to the United Negro College Fund to assist in getting students of color to college.
