18-Year-Old Richard “Tre” Jenkins Is on the Damn Come-Up.
After overcoming childhood homelessness and bullying, the Philadelphia teen is heading to Harvard on a full ride this fall.
“My last memory of [being homeless in Florida] is walking for miles on a highway with a TV that my dad had gotten me for Christmas in both my hands, while my mom pushed the stroller and some other stuff,” Jenkins recently told the Philly Inquirer. “It was a bad time.” Things were so stressful that he later began suffering from migraines. Bullies also used to teasingly call him “Harvard” because he loved to learn.
“There’s a lot of places I didn’t think possible — including Harvard,” he said. “I don’t know, I guess I just thought: I’m Black. And I’m not that smart.’”
Looks like the joke’s on all his bullies. Oh, and we’re not crying. You’re crying.
Morgan Freeman is Denying Sexual Assault Claims.
Though he does enjoy giving women compliments to “make them feel at ease,” he says he’s never sexually assaulted women, the Associated Press reports. Last week, CNN reported that the Academy Award-winning actor had been accused of sexual assault by multiple women. In a statement on Friday (May 25), he said that “it is not right to equate horrific incidents of sexual assault with misplaced compliments or humor.”
“I admit that I am someone who feels a need to try to make women, and men, feel appreciated and at ease around me,” Freeman said. “As a part of that, I would often try to joke with and compliment women, in what I thought was a light-hearted and humorous way. Clearly I was not always coming across the way I intended.”
Freeman’s lawyer is now demanding CNN retract their story.
Alright, So Are Eminem and Nicki Minaj Dating or Nah?
Eminem got on stage during his headlining Boston Calling performance on Sunday and asked Nicki on a date. She responded on Twitter, saying: “LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The fact that he’s silly & a goof just like me. Love him so much. Em we need you on the #Queen album. That’s where our 1st date will be; at the studio while I gaze into ur beautiful eyes as u write ur verse.”
Eminem’s stage “courtship” went down after Nicki recently replied “yes” to a fan’s inquiry regarding whether or not they’re together… but a source told TMZ she was joking, so we’re not sure what to make of any of it at this point.

UFC Champ Michael Bisping Is Retiring.
The former middleweight champ announced on his “Believe You Me” podcast that he’s hanging up his gloves due to issues with his vision. “It ain’t worth it,” Bisping said. “What else am I going to do? I won the belt, I’ve had tons of wins. I’ve done everything I set out to achieve.”
He added, “It’s been a long journey – in 2003, I started training, so 15 years as a professional fighter, 12 or 13 years in the UFC. You can’t do it forever. I’ve done it for a long time, and of course I’ve got issues with my eye. After the (Kelvin) Gastelum fight, I started having issues with my good eye, which I’ve never spoken about before.”
