I Am The Man is the world’s chance to get an inside look at the fly Black men who’ve put their unique stamp on what it means to soar, even in the disconcerting face of adversity.
“I feel like if it’s art, if you’re just truly passionate about what you do, then color or disadvantages shouldn’t matter.”
First up is Brooklyn-based men’s shoe designer Neil Schneider, He believes there’s very little that can stop us from making shit happen.
“I feel like if it’s art, if you’re just truly passionate about what you do, then color or disadvantages shouldn’t matter,” he told CASSIUS. “If you’re doing what you’re meant to do, then the universe will ultimately move out your way.”
Our takeaway: Love what you do—and make sure the finished product is boss enough to withstand the test of time.
