The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts unveiled the founding members of its Hip-Hop Culture Council on Tuesday, and our fearless leader is one of them! Kierna Mayo—iOne Digital’s Senior Vice President of Content & Brands—joins Q-Tip, Questlove, Mimi Valdés, and other esteemed figures of the culture in a mission to spread hip-hop knowledge across various mediums.

“The Kennedy Center’s Hip Hop Culture Council reflects the creative, social, and intellectual wealth of the Hip Hop community,” Q-Tip, the council’s Artistic Director of Hip Hop Culture, said in statement. “The members are the embodiment of what we stand for and all that we aspire to achieve with the Hip Hop Culture program.”

Read more about the program here, then go ahead and send Mayo a huge congrats.
