Vin Diesel gets paid millions to look cool while driving a car at 120MPH. But in real life, pushing metal at high speeds around a racetrack isn’t as easy as it looks.
That’s what actors J.D. Williams (Saints & Sinners, The Wire), Lamman Rucker (Greenleaf), Redaric Williams (The Quad) and Keith Robinson (Power Rangers, Saints & Sinners) learned when they joined Lexus’ #0To60 Challenge. Joined by professional driver Tia Norfleet (the first Black woman to be a registered driver for NASCAR), and Olympic medalist sprinter Carmelita Jeter, the competitors are divided into two crews. Next, the teams took on Road Atlanta, a world-famous 2.5 mile course that features elevation changes, blind curves, and a crazy final stretch that would leave Tyrese begging for hazard pay.
The stakes? Pretty high. The winner gets to take home a beautiful, brand-new Lexus for a year — and bragging rights for life.
