The National Sexual Assault Hotline Has Received an Increase in Calls Since Surviving R. Kelly.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) tweeted on Monday that “calls to our National Sexual Assault Hotline increased 27% during the ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ premiere.” RAINN states that it often sees this sort of increase when sexual abuse and assault is highlighted in the news.

“Hotline traffic frequently increases when sexual abuse is in the news, according to the organization,” The Daily Beast reports. RAINN also reportedly saw a 147 percent increase in calls when Christine Blasey Ford testified against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in September of last year, as well as a 33 percent increase after the release of Donald Trump’s Access Hollywood tape back in 2016.

And Now, Gucci Gang.

You may know “Gucci Gang” as a Lil Pump single, but if you were looking closely at the flyer for Coachella 2019, you may have also noticed Gucci Gang included on the lineup. No, it wasn’t a mistake. As TMZ reports, Lil Pump, Gucci Mane, and Smokpurpp will be performing together as a supergroup at this year’s festival.

TMZ also notes that Pump and Smokepurpp have been friends for close to seven years, while Gucci Mane has been a huge influence on Lil Pump. They add: “Pump and Gucci collaborated in 2017 and ’18 … and we’re told the trio first started calling themselves Gucci Gang as a joke, but it’s since morphed into a full-fledged group.”

Watch out, Migos.

Unless You Want Diabetes, You May Want to Stop Smoking Hookah.

That’s because, according to a new study, hookah smoke is linked to both diabetes and obesity. The study also showed that hookah smoke is more dangerous than cigarette smoke (yikes), with experts warning folks that their cool and “healthy” habit may not be as “healthy” as it seems.
