After having America on high alert for most of the week, 56-year-old Cesar Sayoc was arrested on Friday in connection with mailed explosives sent to former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, among others. According to online court records, Sayoc—whose vehicle was reportedly covered in images of President Trump, American flags and Republican National Committee logos upon police investigation—was also arrested in 2002 and served a year of probation in relation to making a bomb threat.

Below is a recap of events leading up to his arrest.

Monday, Oct. 22

Police received a call around 3:45 p.m. after a suspicious package appeared in the mailbox of billionaire investor George Soros in Bedford, New York. According to CNN, Soros was “rendered safe” per law enforcement.

Tuesday, Oct. 23

A second package containing what appeared to be an explosive device was intercepted during a mail screening, authorities reported on Tuesday. The package was reportedly intended for Hillary Clinton.

Wednesday, Oct. 24

A third package said to be intended for former US Attorney General Eric Holder was sent to the office of Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultzin Florida. According to CNN, law enforcement stated that “the package was returned to the Democratic congresswoman because her office was the return label on the package.”

That same day, CNN’s New York bureau, which is located in the Time Warner Center, was evacuated around 10 a.m. after another suspicious package was found on the premises. It was addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan.

A fourth suspicious package intended for Maxine Waters was intercepted at a congressional mail screening facility in Maryland, while another package intended for Waters was found in Los Angeles. A package intended for Barack Obama was also intercepted in Washington by the US Secret Service.

Thursday, Oct. 25

Yet another suspicious package addressed to Robert De Niro at 375 Greenwich St. (the address of the Tribeca Film Center) appeared in New York City. As noted by reports, De Niro is the co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival and vocally against Trump.

Packages addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden were also discovered in Delaware.

Friday, Oct. 26

Sayoc, who appears to live in Aventura, Florida, was arrested in connection with the suspicious packages. Earlier, an 11th package intended for Democratic Sen. Cory Booker was confirmed, while a 12th package addressed to former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and CNN was also found.

CNN reports that a 13th suspicious package, reportedly intended for Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris, is also under investigation.
