‘Ruby Rose Will Star as The CW’s Batwoman
Queer women and gender non conforming people alike are undoubtedly excited for The CW’s choice in casting for their rendition of Batwoman.
Australian model-actress Ruby Rose was chosen to play Kate Kane a.k.a. Batwoman. The character will be introduced in the network’s DC crossover event in the winter as the stand-alone series is in the works. If Batwoman is picked up as a series, Rose will be starring in the first series focusing on an LGBT superhero.
Drake Trademarks “God’s Plan” for Game Show
Drizzy might be trying to do more good things in the name of “God’s Plan.”
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper has filed a trademark named after the title of his viral hit, “God’s Plan” to use for the name of a TV game show and a clothing merchandise line. The trademark also goes or other endeavors such as downloadable music, music videos, audio recordings, marketing, and promotion.
Don Lemon Responds to Trump’s LeBron Slander
After Trump insulted both Don Lemon and LeBron last week, Lemon has a couple of words for the president.
On Monday night’s episode of CNN Tonight, responded to Trump insulting his and Lebron’s intelligence.
“I wouldn’t normally address this…as a journalist, I don’t really like being the story here,” he said. “Let me not mince words here … This president traffics in racism and is fueled by bullying. From keeping children at the border in cages to bullying journalists at his rallies every chance that he gets. President Trump is trying a divide and conquer strategy here and here’s how it goes.”
