The HausCall app was birthed from the all too common frustration of spending hours at the barber shop.

Bruh, you know the drill—wake up at the crack of dawn, get your spot in line, then, watch your day fade away as you sit through those gruesome wait times. The brainchild of Howard grads Morgan Winbush, Killian Lewis, and Crystal Allen-Washington (pictured below), the app will feature a cache of user-rated barbers that will either come to you by request or allow you to book scheduled appointments in a shop.

It launches in DC next month.

Tapping into the unique needs of people of color and people with coarse and curly hair, this on-demand service will allow you to book services based on hair type, track your barber while they’re on the way to you, pay and tip all on your smartphone.

With plans of expanding into other major cities including New York City, Atlanta and Charlotte by the end of 2019, The HausCall app will come in handy when you’re traveling, on the go, or just too lazy to leave the crib for a fresh cut. Follow HausCall on Twitter and Instagram to find out when it will be available in a city near you.
