BIG3 - Week Five

DMX had a rough month or so, but things are finally looking up—sort of.

In case you weren’t aware, the legend was out on bail in the matter of his tax evasion case. But, according to reports, a judge ruled earlier this month that he’d violated the terms of his bail when he showed up 30 minutes late to his bail bond hearing, failed four drug tests, and traveled to St. Louis without the court’s permission to check on family. After all his slip-ups, he was placed on house arrest, with several outlets reporting X couldn’t so much as go outside of his home to “mow the lawn.”

Thankfully, the judge in his case had a change of heart, if only for the moment. NY Daily News reports: “The rapper, who has been ordered to home confinement, will be allowed to travel to Atlanta next week for a gig. There’s a catch — he must be accompanied by a round-the-clock sober coach, according to a new court filing.”

X is also slated to perform at this year’s Made In America festival, so hopefully, the judge extends the courtesy. SB: God bless the man who has to patrol DMX and his sobriety 24 hours a day.
