Here’s 21 Savage’s First Post-Release Interview.
21 Savage sat down with ABC News’ Linsey Davis on Friday morning (Feb. 15), speaking out about his Super Bowl weekend ICE arrest for the first time.
“I was just driving. And I just seen guns and blue lights. And, then, I was in the back of a car. And I was gone,” he shared. He added that he wasn’t told he was under arrest. “They didn’t — they didn’t say nothing. They just said, ‘We got Savage.’ It was definitely targeted. There was helicopters.”

“I will never be the man that this did not happen to,” Smollett stated. “I am forever changed. I don’t subscribe to the idea everything happens for a reason, but I do subscribe to the idea that we have the right and the responsibility to make something meaningful out of the things that happen to us, good and bad.”
