A former professional athlete will have to defend his name in a court of law. An unnamed woman is suing an ex-NFL player for knowingly spreading an STD.

As per Raw Story wide receiver Eric Moulds has some serious allegations against him. According to Law & Crime an unidentified woman has filed a legal complaint against him claiming he had romantic relations with several female fans. She says he engaged her for sex knowing he has herpes; an incurable sexually transmitted disease. The documentation says he “targeted single mothers who were Buffalo Bills fans living in Western New York.”

She also details the timeline of their dealings which started in 2019 over Instagram. The two would remain in contact via social media until she accepted an offer for an “all-expenses-paid” to visit him in North Carolina during January 2023. This is when their relationship became intimate and the two would remain lovers until later that year. In December 2023 the woman was contacted by Eric Moulds’ pregnant fiancee of eight years and advised her to get tested because she and “other women whom (Moulds) has relationships with had been transmitted diseases by him.”

Unfortunately, Jane Doe tested positive herpes shortly after. Her suit also alleges Eric Moulds has been “sued by several women for knowingly spreading herpes over a decade ago.” Frank LoTempo III, a representative for the former NFL player, tells The Buffalo News that the allegations are false.
