In celebration of  Mexico’s “El Día de Los Muertos” festival which honors deceased loved ones, PUMA dropped its Day of the Dead Pack yesterday, October 19.

The styles draw inspiration from the legendary skull figures referred to as Calacus. Bright colors depict the reunion of the living and the dead in bold contrast.

Observed across the world, but celebrated over two days in Mexico, this is no sad holiday. Instead, the unique celebration honors the deceased by inviting their souls to reunite with family for a joyful celebration of life. The “Day of the Dead” pack includes three new iterations of PUMA’s classic sneakers: The Roma DOTD FM, BasketClassic DOTD FM and PUMA Platform DOTD WMN’s FM. Featuring a jacquard upper embellished with colorful skulls and flowers, black suede provides a bold contrast.

The styles are available now at PUMA.com and select Puma retailers.
