Expensive Taste: Louis Vuitton Reopens Restaurant In Saint Tropez

Louis Vuitton continues to bring their brand to life outside of apparel. The brand is reopening its restaurant in Saint Tropez.
As per Hypebeast, the luxury label will be bringing back their Arnaud Donckele & Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton. Located at the White 1921 Hotel, the eatery will feature an updated menu that aims to capture LV’s elevated approach to hospitality. This time the business will carry their newly awarded rating of one star, which the famed Michelin Guide describes as “high quality cooking – worth a stop!” As per a formal press release chef Arnaud Donckele and chef pâtissier Maxime Frédéric aim to provide guests “an exquisitely colorful and delectable culinary experience.”
As expected, Louis Vuitton’s signature trademark logo is featured throughout various decorative elements of the open-air concept. While some pieces are directly from the current collection (i.e., porcelain dinnerware), there are also subtle nods to the Maison’s rich heritage, including trunk-shaped side tables. Additionally, the logo is also incorporated into certain dessert dishes. The meringue soufflé for example, fuses lemon and hazelnut and has a gaufrette on top that is branded with the LV emblem and the accompanying Monogram flowers. Another menu item to note is the red mullet that is paired with bottarga shavings, sabayon of vegetable rouille of orange wine.
