Leanna Lenee: Everything We Know About Travis Hunter's Wife

This past April, the 2025 NFL Draft took place in Green Bay, Wisconsin. With the number two overall pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter. As happy a day as that was, it wasn’t even Hunter’s most significant moment of the summer. The 22-year-old football phenom followed draft night by marrying his then-fiancée, Leanna Lenee, a month later in May (the two had announced their engagement a year prior). The couple recently announced that they welcomed a baby boy in August. Who is the special lady that has Travis’ heart, though?

Leanna Lenee was born Leanna De La Fuente on November 25th, 2001, about an hour outside of London, England. The Sagittarius, who has a mixed heritage (her father is of Filipino and Mexican heritage and her mother is Black), spent roughly 10 years of her life there before moving to the United States. After coming over, she lived in Savannah, Georgia. She decided to stay relatively close for college and chose to attend Kennesaw State University. Lenee graduated in 2022 and revealed that she earned her four-year bachelor’s degree (Upper English education and business administration) in just two years.

Although Leanna and Travis’ relationship officially started in 2022, the two met each other when they were teenagers and Hunter was still in high school. Travis made the first move by reaching out on Instagram. Leanna Lenee didn’t respond for quite some time before finally expressing that she wanted to stay friends. That is exactly what they did over the next couple of months, building a friendship via texting. Things took a dramatic turn when Travis accompanied Lenee to a friend’s birthday dinner because she didn’t want to go alone. As one might expect, their relationship deepened from there. Their romance continued as Hunter attended college at Jackson State and then transferred to the University of Colorado, with Lenee by his side throughout his collegiate career.

After officially dating for two years, Travis proposed to Leanna Lenee in February of 2024. They tied the knot earlier this year on May 24th at The Barn at Faith Farms in Tennessee. Three months later, Hunter and Lenee shared that they had welcomed a baby boy into the world. The announcement came in the form of a YouTube video that documented her pregnancy up to the child’s birth. Speaking of YouTube, the new parents share a YouTube channel where they post content together, including vlogs, travel videos, wedding preparations, and more. In addition to being active on social media, Lenee is known for creative and custom fashion, especially game-day outfits to support Travis.

Travis made his NFL debut last Sunday, September 7th, picking up a 26-10 win over the Carolina Panthers. Leanna was, of course, there, wearing a bold and attention-grabbing outfit that consisted of jean shorts, a white bodysuit/halter top, and custom Jaguars boots featuring Travis’ name and number. A couple of weeks postpartum, at the time, Lenee showed that although she was starting a new chapter in her life as a mother, she could still show up and support Travis in his new chapter also. Congrats to both Leanna Lenee and Travis Hunter on their success, union and bundle of joy! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the couple.
