L    ast week, Louisiana police issued a warrant for Mystikal‘s arrest after a woman accused the rapper of rape. On Monday, August 21, he reportedly turned himself in to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Department—but one day later, there are already interesting developments.

TMZ reports police have accused two other people of being involved with the alleged sexual assault, including another man, Averweone Holman, and one woman, Tenichia Wafford, who says she is a friend of the alleged victim. Cops say Wafford, who was charged with accessory to rape, “tried to strong-arm the alleged victim into dropping charges that Mystikal and another man raped her in October of last year in Louisiana,” as reported by TMZ. But Wafford claims she only called the woman because she considers her a friend. Wafford also claims the woman admitted she was not raped during the private conversation.

TMZ writes, “It’s unclear if Tenichia is saying the alleged victim stated there was sexual contact with consent or no sexual contact at all. Tenichia says she recorded her conversation with the alleged victim.”

Wafford is still on the run. Meanwhile, Mystikal was arrested and booked for first-degree rape. We will continue to keep you updated on his case as more information becomes available.
