Police are investigating the viral Facebook Live video in which, as social media users believe, 19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins can allegedly be heard crying for help while reportedly being raped.

“Yes, they’ve looked at it and continue to look at it and all the other social media videos and posts,” Gary Mack, spokesperson for the village of Rosemont, told the Chicago Tribune on Monday. “They are leaving no stone unturned as far as trying to corral everyone they can and talk to them and interview them about what happened and what was going on that night.”

According to the Tribune, investigators are also looking into surveillance video footage, but police have yet to disclose how Jenkins ended up in a freezer in Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center, where she was found dead.

As previously reported, Jenkins was at a party in a hotel room in Rosemont, Ill. before she went missing. Friends later claimed Jenkins was left in one of the hotel’s hallways while they went to retrieve their belongings. They said that she was gone when they returned. But Jenkins’ mother, Tereasa Martin (pictured above)—who told the Tribune she last saw her daughter around 11:30 p.m. on Friday when she left for the party—said “stories changed over and over.” According to other relatives, Jenkins’ sister last spoke with her around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday around the time she went missing.

“As far as who found the girl’s body, they’re not saying on that,” Mack said. “That’s something that’s part of the investigation and they’re not releasing.”

Police have also declined to disclose whether Jenkins’ body showed signs of trauma.
