While five equally incredible boroughs make up New York City, Manhattan is undoubtedly its shining star. To check out what makes Manhattan such an attractive destination for tourists and locals alike, Cassius entertainment editor Cory Townes explored some of the city’s best views in this edition of Lit City.
First, Townes made his way to the Highline to meet up with fellow New Yorkers and take in the sights. He connected with professional photographer Sharisse Daley, who showed off how the Fujifilm Instax Instant Camera is the perfect camera to capture NYC — whether you’re a weekend visitor, or an experienced pro.
“It’s just a lot of great street photos honestly,” Daley said while they headed north to Times Square. “The architecture and everything, the buildings, the lights, everything.”
Townes and Daley then headed east to 5th Avenue to witness a “million dollar view,” according to an NYC nightlife expert.
“No matter how high you climb you can never really get to know a city until you party with it, and this place parties like no other,” Townes says of their final stop, way downtown on Delancy Street.
