Following his first PUMA XO Collection that launched last year, PUMA creative collaborator and global brand ambassador, The Weeknd is gearing up for the release of his Spring-Summer 2018 drop. Given the sold out release of his Fall/Winter lineup, it’s safe to say this next collection will probably fly off the shelves.
Inspired by his recent travels, the Weeknd’s warm-weather lineup pulls design details from various countries, combining premium fabrics and bold hues. Tibetan culture served as a major design reference for Drop 1, with the lineup of premium streetwear accented by embroidered designs, tribal cats and unique graphics. More understated pieces feature black jacquard taping with a unique pattern to round out the Eastern theme.
There’s also a remix on the musician’s trademark kicks. The new PUMA XO Parallel 2.0 is a mid-cut sneaker boot with military-inspired accents, gusset tongue construction, hiking eyelets and a standout blocked heel design.
