Congratulations Are in Order for Kung Fu Kenny.
Unless you’ve been under a rock, chances are you’ve heard about Kendrick Lamar’s prestigious Pulitzer Prize win. The honor not only makes Kendrick the first rapper to win the award, but he is also the first musician to win who does not perform classical or jazz (though the latter can be argued; see: To Pimp a Butterfly, Untitled, etc.).
“The time was right,” Dana Canedy, the administrator of the prizes, told The New York Times. “We are very proud of this selection. It means that the jury and the board judging system worked as it’s supposed to — the best work was awarded a Pulitzer Prize.”
One time for Kendrick!
Here’s the Trailer for Dear White People Season 2.
Dear White People returns to Netflix on May 4, and this next season is looking larger than the last.
“There’s a lot of secrets to uncover this season, in particular, who is coming after Sam,” director Justin Simien told Entertainment Weekly. “Everyone’s got secrets this season — secrets from each other, secrets from themselves. There’s lots of things that the characters don’t know and have kind of repressed, and sort of going into those treasure troves is something a lot of the characters are doing.”

In 2016, Jamal Moore said he’d work for Beyoncé. Two years later, he ended up on stage at #Beychella as one of her backup dancers. Who’da thunk it? Both Twitter and Moore are mindblown. Hell, so are we.
