Great entertainers are born and bred at HBCUs including the funniest comedians. For those who like to joke, there’s a new comedy special HBC…U Got Jokes. The special is hosted by actor and comedian Chris Spencer with the role of joke doctor. In the special, Spencer mentors two young comedians named Erik Terrell and Lele Mason. Through his workshop he test their talents, give them advice and teaches them how to perform under pressure and excel at sketch comedy. Once he feels they’re ready for the big stage, he invites them to the first HBCU, Lincoln University, to perform for an audience.
