Oh, Snap. Drake Actually Issued a Statement Re: That Blackface Photo.
“I know everyone is enjoying the circus but I want to clarify this image in question,” he wrote in what appears to be an iPhone note on Wednesday. “This was not from a clothing brand shoot or my music career. This picture is from 2007, a time in my life where I was an actor and I was working on a project that was about young black actors struggling to get roles.”
Earlier, Too Black Guys founder Adrian Aitcheson denied rumors that the photos were used for the streetwear brand’s 2008 Jim Crow Couture project.
“The photo in question was not from a Too Black Guys photoshoot however it did feature clothing from Too Black Guys’ JIM CROW COUTURE/HOUSE OF CROW collection which was released in 2008,” he told Complex.
Papa Graham had some words, too… but for Wendy Williams:

A Tennessee Lawmaker Is Blaming School Shootings on… Porn?
Let Republican Congresswoman Diane Black tell it, porn is a “big root of the cause” for the recent spate of school shootings.
“It’s available on the shelf when you walk in the grocery store,” Black, who’s also running for governor, said during a recent meeting with pastors in Clarksville. “Yeah, you have to reach up to get it, but there’s pornography there. All of this is available without parental guidance.”
Well gee, how didn’t anyone consider this sooner!? 🙄🙄🙄
