Kanye West & Kid Cudi — Kids See Ghosts

Just one week after unleashing ye, Kanye West links up with Kid Cudi for their highly-anticipated joint project, Kids See Ghosts. Following speculations, a short-lived feud, and a reconciliation, the newly-minted duo delivers a seven-song effort entirely produced by Yeezy.

West dropped this album much like he did ye. He live-streamed an elaborate listening session through the WAV app before making it available to the general public. This time, however, he traded Jackson, Wyo. for Santa Clarita, Calif.

Despite the location change, the bonfire was just the same. In the middle of a ghostly scene full of people, Ye and Cudder shared their new work together. While Kanye and Cudi are the main attraction, Kids See Ghosts also features some guests, including Pusha-T, Ty Dolla $ign, and Yasiin Bey.

Jorja Smith — Lost & Found

After getting co-signs from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Drake, rising singer Jorja Smith unveils her solo debut, Lost & Found.

The buzzed-about 12-song project features singles like “Blue Lights,” “Where Did I Go?,” and “Teenage Fantasy.” It doesn’t, however, include any guest appearances. The reason for that is quite simple, according to Jorja.

“No features on my first album,” she told Beats 1. “I thought, ‘Nah.’ Just me. People probably are gonna expect me to have a Drake feature and Kendrick feature. Maybe Kali Uchis feature, too. Who else? Stormzy feature. Sorry! […] But what am I going to do for album two? I’ve got stuff to do.”

Future — SuperFly Soundtrack

Before Director X’s forthcoming SuperFly reboot hits theaters, the film’s soundtrack lands with some serious star power of its own. Future executive produced and curated the high-powered project, which features his famous friends like 21 Savage, Young Thug, Miguel, Lil Wayne, and more.

As expected, Pluto makes several appearances throughout. In fact, Hndrxx shows up on nearly every single song. Elsewhere, Khalid, H.E.R., Yung Bans, and Gunna add to the mix with their own flavor, all in the name of SuperFly.

The sleek new reboot rolls into theaters June 13. It stars Trevor Jackson, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Jason Mitchell.

Ne-Yo — Good Man

The Gentleman is back as a Good Man. Three years after releasing Non-Fiction, Ne-Yo returns with his seventh album.

Jam-packed with 20 new tracks, Good Man features a few guest stars. Romeo Santos, Bebe Rexha, Stefflon Don, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Eric Bellinger, Candice Boyd, and Sam Hook all show up for the party.

“This album focuses on the journey of what it is to be a good man: a good man to your spouse, a good brother to your brother, a good person to the world,” he said in a statement (as per Vibe). “I am not proclaiming to be perfect. A good man makes mistakes, learns from those mistakes, therefore to not then repeat those mistakes. Being a good man is a journey.”

Ty Dolla $ign & Jeremih — “The Light”

Ty Dolla $ign and Jeremih are teasing their forthcoming MihTy joint effort with their newest single, “The Light.” If it sounds familiar, it might be due to the fact that the new track samples Keni Burke’s “Risin’ to the Top.”

Ty and Jeremih stay true to their signature raunchy styles. “Let’s have sex, but not without the foreplay,” sings Dolla. Meanwhile, Jeremih adds a nod to Ahmad’s “Back in the Day.” “Back in the days when I was young, I’m not a kid anymore,” he sings on the cut. “But these days I’m thinkin’ baby we should fuck again.”

Jay Rock – “The Bloodiest”

Jay Rock is prepping for the release of his third album, Redemption. A week before dropping his newest LP, the Top Dawg Entertainment MC unleashes its latest single, “The Bloodiest,” a follow-up to previous singles like “King’s Dead” and “Win.”

“The Bloodiest” is a hard-hitting cut with some thoughtful bars about resilience. “Battle scars and tribulations,” he raps. “Downfalls from situations / I bounced off with dedication / Accounted for my participation.”

To go along with the new track, Rock announced Redemption’s guest list. The album, which will feature Kendrick Lamar, SZA, J. Cole, and more, will arrive next week, on June 15. It is now available for pre-orders. Listen to “The Bloodiest” below.
